Hey there! I’m glad you’re here.

Whether you’ve come by personal invite or just to take a look around, I hope you find something that makes you breathe easier, dig deeper into truth, or lights a fire for your own journey in life.  Less Than Fireworks is a gratefulness blog, I write short devotions in 10 minute breathers, and My Favorites is a space that includes photos, projects, or blogs that I share for their life-giving words and encouragement rather than life-taking. Enjoy your visit!

About

I am mom of 3 young boys and wife to a hard working man who is both a Military Reserve Officer and a a full time Air Force Project Manager. My training is in Christian Education and Theology and I have worked as a youth minster in a few locations. For now, I work as a youth director in my own home. Most of it feels like keeping joy afloat while also not letting life get too disorganized. This challenging balance I consider a calling more than a burden and I’m glad to be considered worthy!

I write, I try to stay fit to keep up with these kids, I rearrange furniture, I paint, and have even tried my hand at a crochet etsy shop once. I love good healthy competition in board games and sports and am the person to call for a good brainstorming session!
